Absolutely incredible!! Fantastic biscuit sandwiches. During my most recent trip, I had the OG, Papa, and the special and all were brilliant. The tater tots with peach hot sauce were delicious. Bless yourself by eating at The Biscuit Joint. I can’t wait to eat here again when I’m back in town!

If there are negative review about this place, for get about it!
This place is stunning, and excellent crafting of each meal.
Their chefs deserve a handshake because their ingredients and ingenuity are some of the finest.
Whit Omen Coffee next door, this is a must stop. Even if you’re not starving, get a biscuit to go….BECAUSE MY LORD they are amazing.

A little unassuming place with some big flavors! What a surprise my taste buds got. I ordered the goat sandwich which was ok but the real hero was the mushroom and sage gravy. Wow! I don't typically like gravy and biscuits at restaurants but I could eat the gravy here all day and every day! We also tried the cinnamon roll and the french toast. The cinnamon roll was one of my favorites I've ever had. So yummy! The French toast wasn't a typical French toast but more like a bread pudding and it was amazing as well. I highly recommend trying this place out! It was beyond good!

Despite the laid-back, bleary-eyed, dazed and confused outside appearance of the whole affair, The Biscuit Joint does really take the humble biscuit, makes it good, (and square,) and creatively expands its breadth and usage to expand the minds of all who walk in!

The "biscuits" from the "joint" are in fact very good!
And so is the gravy. Seldom are such places seem that excel at both biscuits AND gravy, but here on Washington Avenue such thing exists! We went here and I got the SAGE AND MUSHROOM biscuit and gravy, the FRENCH TOAST, and the CINNAMON ROLL, and I enjoyed it all.

The vegetarian gravy with sage and mushrooms is great, (Perfectly flavorful and viscous,) and complements the buttery biscuit really well - savory-thing-wise, they're cookin'.

But where this joint really shines is in its dessert biscuits. The French toast rotates seasonally, and we got the spring's: bread pudding. The Verdict: great. Wonderful custard, great fresh strawberry, wonderful flavor.

But the best item on the menu, by FAR, is the "cinnamon roll." With biscuit dough, it's perfectly crispy and flaky throughout, and the texture is absolutely impeccable. The cinnamonyness is accentuated by a tiny bit of ANISE! This is not a stale-tasting standard cinnamon roll, but a totally novel confection unique to this corner of midtown. Good Job!

In summary, the biscuits are amazing and buttery and flaky and perfect, and every item has its own spin on it. I will say that the music was too loud though, and did feel a bit suffocating. (For me at least.) Still an incredible restaurant! Definitely would recommend

This Joint is nice and clean. The employees are soo friendly. I loved the one side of the wall which had he orginial bricks and stones. The atmosphere is more like a coffee shop. They were on point with their take-out orders. I ordered the biscuit, egg, sausage and cheese. The sandwich size didnt dissppoint, but the potatoes had too much salt. This is a place you could bring a friend and relax ?. Would I come back, "yes."

I arrived hungry after going for some fasting bloodwork on a Tuesday around 830 AM. Parking was easy enough to find on the street at this time. I walk inside and am greeted by the person at the register and am handed a menu. It all looks good, but I held strong and only ordered two items along with my coffee, which was so flavorful. Seating is mostly countryside, so it can get cozy, but the vibes are immaculate. With some great tunes bumpin, the tots arrived first. Smothered in egg yolk, cheese and chopped bacon, the dish was so decadent. Then the superstar arrived. The GOAT might just be perfectly named because the pillowy biscuit, the juiciest piece of fried chicken and the tanginess of the pickles and sauce may genuinely be in contention for Greatest Of All Time. Can’t wait to come back!

This is a cool little spot. The biscuits are fantastic. I had the Papa and it is everything you want in a breakfast sandwich.

My only complaint about the place was that one of the hoods over the stove seemed to be a little under performing. The smoke was a little irritating.
