Service was good but the food was very normal or maybe I expected too much. We ordered Chef's picnic, the portion was good but none of the dishes were amazing. The cold cut, half of it were veggies and sour, the sandwich was tasteless, the fried cheese was normal and the sauce was nothing special, the salmon was just pan fried and put on top of salad which was not matched well, last to fried potatoes was dry and salty. Very disappointed and will not visit again.

Went here for a belated birthday dinner! Got seated upstairs and it was a cute little area with pastel walls and nice ambient lighting.

We got the Chef's Picnic tasting menu with Strawberry Blossom as a dessert. Ended up being a lot more food than I thought, we were very full at the end. Everything was well portioned and tasted good. My favorite was the deviled eggs and crispy potatoes.

I also got the signature Old Fashioned cocktail which came with cotton candy on top so that was really fun.

Overall a good experience with good food and great service. Def recommend!

AND/ORE offers a unique and immersive dining experience with its cave-like ambiance in the basement level. The tasting menu was impressive—each dish was thoughtfully crafted and delicious, making it a treat for the palate. However, the long wait times between courses dampened the experience. It felt like we were waiting at least 30 minutes for each dish, which disrupted the flow of the meal. Also, my friend, who is visibly pregnant, was served a dish that had alcohol infused in it. This is something the server should have been more aware of and avoided serving to her. While we understand that mistakes can happen, it’s crucial for a restaurant to be mindful of dietary restrictions, especially in such an obvious case. It’s unfortunate because the food and ambiance were otherwise enjoyable, but this oversight left a bad impression. A little more attention to detail could go a long way in ensuring a safe and pleasant dining experience for all guests.

While the atmosphere and food were both fantastic, the slow service makes me hesitant about returning. If you’re patient and looking for a one-of-a-kind setting, it’s worth a visit, but be prepared for a lengthy dining experience.

and/ore was a fantastic experience. We had their below ground tasting menu. The pacing and portions for the menu were perfect and we left feeling full but not stuffed. Service, attention to detail, and ambience were all spot on. The cocktails are classic but with fun little twists (using cotton candy as a sweetener for an old fashioned). They also have a good selection of wines, both by the glass and bottles. Our server Lu was very helpful with answering questions and giving suggestions for wine/cocktail pairings.If you’re looking for somewhere to go for a special occasion, I wouldn’t hesitate to book a reservation here. Alternatively, their upstairs dining offers an a la carte menu selection.

The perfect girls night out!! Our server was Nathan and he was an absolute GEM! He made us feel so comfortable, incredible attention to detail and created such a fun experience! The tasting menu is well worth the price for the service and all the interesting flavours they’ve created in this course. Definitely worth a try! My favourite dish was the Lobster for sure, and the Yukon gold potato!!!

Set menu was arguably the best meal we've had in Toronto. One of the best we've anywhere.
Excellent (and very consistent) courses.
Excellent service.

Only notes would be moving through courses a bit faster. Maybe enforcing their "no flash" rule too.

Really enjoyed our girls night! The shared plates were perfect for us. Our favourite dish, hands down … the crispy potatoes! They were so good that we ordered another plate. Duck confit came in second. And deviled eggs third. Love the atmosphere as well, rather whimsical. And our server was great, friendly and attentive. If this restaurant was closer to me, I’d visit more often!

An inconspicuous entrance with an absolutely gorgeous interior. We sat above ground for a few appetizers and drinks. Some of the food was quite innovative and all of it was good. I particularly enjoyed the stratciatella (the roasted grapes are delicious with the cheese) but could have passed on the curry fish balls (which they no longer have on their menu). Drinks were also great - enjoyed the visual and tasty twist on the old fashioned.
