I had an incredible dining experience at The Hideout! The lamb burger was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, juicy, and bursting with flavor. The BLTA (bacon, lettuce, tomato, and avocado sandwich) was another standout dish, with fresh ingredients that elevated a classic to a whole new level. But the real star of the meal was their sourdough bread, it was hands down the best bread I’ve ever had in my life. Light, flavorful, and perfectly textured, it was unforgettable. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by The Hideout for an amazing meal you won’t forget!

My friend and I came here for lunch, came at 1130am so it wasn't crowded. I had the blue cheese burger, $19 made with brisket, chuck, prime rib meat..it was EXCELLENT! Cooked to perfection!! super delicious served with truffle fries for $2 more. Service here was also wonderful. Food came fast, and our waiter was very attentive and kept our drinks filled. I definitely want to come back to try the dinner menu.

Terrible and disappointing dining experience

First of all, this review is only for the management of this restaurant and the taste of the food, the waiter's service is very good

It was a very unpleasant dining experience at this restaurant. The service was incredibly slow. We ordered a few simple dishes, but waited for a full 40 minutes, and even the most basic salad was not served in 40mins. It was completely inefficient.

In addition, the buffalo shrimp we ordered was also terrible. The sauce was too heavy and the taste was so pungent that I almost choked and even couldn't breathe after taking a bite. Obviously, the chef didn't control the use of the sauce well, which completely covered the original taste of the ingredients and made people feel uncomfortable.

Overall, the food of this restaurant are very unsatisfactory. If management does not make improvements, we will never come back.

Inviting space on the second floor with three seating options: patio, high tables and standard seating. Service was prompt and inviting. Food portions are quite big, with tasty fresh ingredients. Burgers were thick with a large portion of fries. Salads were also large but the vinaigrette was a little too strong for my taste.

First time here. Wonderful experience. Happy hour was great. The food is very good. Fish and chips were outstanding, as were the sliders and NY cheesecake. We ate at the bar, and Michelle is the best. We will definitely visit again,

We returned . Food is consistently good, Tyler is a true mixologist, GM Vic is a good person, and The Hideout Team is outstanding. Calimari is the best in town. Very nice selection of Paso Robles wines. Tiramasu is very good.

I recently visited this restaurant and was really looking forward to trying their burgers. Unfortunately, my experience fell short. Despite asking for a replacement, both burgers I received were burnt. The service was friendly, but the kitchen's quality control was disappointing.

We used to come here back when it was Sammy’s, which really went downhill in its last years. We were hesitant to try this place, but were shocked to see how great it was!

The service was exceptional; fun, available, and helpful. I had a smoky Rita, which was very, very good. The buffalo cauliflower was quite tasty, the pepper pizzas dead perfect, and both the wedge and beet salads were delicious.

The owner even stopped by our table to make sure things were good.

Great experience - we will be back!

Our first visit to The Hideout- fantastic experience! We are Palm Desert seasonal residents. As an experiment, we decided to walk in rather than make a reservation. A very friendly host seated us at a lovely inside table at our request. Server Valerie immediately brought a water pitcher and got us both started us with a glass of wine - generous pour. Chef Justin came out to see how we wanted our requested sausage and peppers prepared! Owner Vic came by to introduce himself and chat about the preparation of the pasta sauce and meatballs. Delicious! Valerie was attentive throughout our meal. Relaxing, casual decor. Excellent lighting, no harsh overhead lights. This spot is a 10 plus! Also a premier location. We can’t wait to try the patio next time.
