I ordered a cooker from Yates. Incredibly simple with no upselling of other products unlike the big chain electrical stores. Unfortunately my electrician couldn't come until the day after delivery. No problem for Yates. They left my cooker in it's protective packaging in my kitchen and returned the next day to collect both the old appliance and the packing materials. No mess, no fuss and extremely polite courteous delivery staff. I will definitely use Yates again ?

Quality experience throughout. Genuine, efficient and friendly office manager made contact to arrange a delivery at a mutually convenient time. The delivery team called to confirm the slot so no time wasted. When they arrived, the team were very respectful of every inch of the property; clever and careful manoeuvring around an old house. Very informative, too! The machine has been left in perfect working order - we can't recommend this business highly enough! Thank you.

Just had delivery of a Freezer that I purchased yesterday.
Wow what a team. A new assistant had just started in the white goods department. It was her first sale. Well done Selina and Jim for your great service. Lastly thankyou so much Jack for the efficiency in installing and helping us move the 32 year old freezer out and putting the new 1 in situ. You certainly would not have got this type of service from anywhere else in th UK.
So a big thumbs up to a local company.

I asked the chap behind the counter (whilst he was checking his mobile), where the topsoil was kept, he said outside. I asked where I could get a trolley, he said “under the plants”, no offer of any help whatsoever. I’m very small, the bags were heavy, wet, slippery and filthy, so I struggled to lift them into the trolley. BUT, he did tell me I didn’t need to bring a bag of soil in to scan, THANK YOU for that, very helpful!

Happened to wander into the garden centre today and found the perfect bench! Not only was it superb quality and a very good price, the assistant couldn't have been more helpful. Absolutely above and beyond. It was delivered the same day and was at the caravan by the time we got back!!! You wouldn't get this standard of service from any of the big garden centre chains. Thank you!

Every time that I have been to Yates & Sons I have had good old fashioned service and at good prices, nothing was too much bother for them and they seem to have everything , the only thing missing is maybe a coffee shop .

Recently moved to the area and went to Yates. And found all staff to be very helpful unfortunately our washing machine went wrong.Bought one from here with the help of a lovely lady called Marion.Had it delivered and fitted and working within one hour by John.And took old machine away and no extra charge .absolutely brillant.
