Service is good, the chef/owner told me that the kimchi is delivered directly from South Korea, I truly believe they are very focusing on delivering the high quality food to their customers.

I will definitely visit again soon.

WE’RE COMING BACK and bringing friends, this place was delicious and very welcoming 🙂 Growing up in the northern VA near Annandale, I’ve been searching for good Korean food in SoFlo and this place takes the cake. We ordered the Galbi ribs (insane flavor) the Korean soy garlic fried chicken (so juicy and perfect crisp), the Beef bibimbab, and the passion fruit Sorbet (gorgeous presentation). Everything was done so well.

The chef came over and welcomed us as they just recently opened. Our waiter was very kind and accommodating!! We can’t wait to be back!!!!

New Korean restaurant with amazing food. The kimchi is perfection. The service is very kind and attentive. You can tell the food is very authentic and it is quality. Also great vegetarian and vegan options. I am excited to come back and try more items from the menu.

If you’re looking for good quality Korean food and excellent customer service. Oh Korean Bistro is where you will find it. I came here last night with my friend and everything from the food, customer service and atmosphere was wonderful. The server and the chef were very friendly and welcoming. The server was attentive and very polite. He made sure we were satisfied with our meal and is knowledgeable of the menu. I always appreciate servers who give recommendations on what’s best to eat. Of course everything on the menu looked authentic and delicious. I had the Soon Tofu Soup w/ shrimp, fried chicken and my friend ordered the Japchae. Absolutely amazing! I will certainly become a regular and spread the word to support this restaurant and introduce Korean cuisine to friends and family! I wish this restaurant the best of success and hope to see it grow.

I could taste the same flavor as in Korea. I was disappointed that they didn't have side dishes, but I can understand because they sell it at a reasonable price. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone, they are so friendly and have delicious food, I will definitely come back.

By the way pls try sweet and spicy chicken!!!! OMG!! Amazing. fried shrimp and dumpling are Super good

Excellent service, friendly and delicious Korean food! Our server Hoonmu is really terrific and we appreciate the hospitality on both occasions we have visited. The Bulgolgi, Kimchi Jigae, Bimbimbap, and Kimchi are all great!! Mr. Yun please keep up the fantastic work with your restaurant; we will keep coming back to support it! Maybe Dakgangjeong in the future!

I recently discovered a newly opened Korean restaurant in Plantation and decided to give it a try. I ordered two dishes based on Chef Yun's recommendations. It turned out to be an excellent choice.

Beef Shank Soup: The aroma alone tells you that the soup has been simmered for 5-6 hours using premium beef bones. The beef shank itself was perfectly cooked—tender yet with a satisfying chew.

Galbi-jjim (Braised Beef Back Ribs): This dish is a standout. I highly recommend it for two reasons: 1) It takes hours of meticulous preparation, which is why only a few Korean restaurants offer it; 2) The taste is exceptional—rich, savory, and truly hard to criticize.

My only minor complaint was that, unlike most Korean restaurants that provide a variety of complimentary side dishes like kimchi, bean sprouts, and sliced radish, this place only offers a small dish of kimchi (though it is refillable). When I asked Chef Yun about this, he explained that instead of making kimchi in-house, he imports it directly from South Korea by air freight to ensure customers experience the most authentic flavors. While this adds to operational costs, he refuses to compromise on quality.

Though the restaurant has only been open for about a week, I truly believe it's a rising star. For anyone seeking AUTHENTIC Korean cuisine, this is a must-visit spot.

I had the pleasure of dining at this incredible Korean restaurant in Plantation , and even though I’m new to Korean cuisine, the experience was beyond exceptional! Every dish was a flavor explosion—perfectly balanced, fresh, and simply delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming, guiding me through the menu and making the whole evening unforgettable. Whether you’re familiar with Korean food or trying it for the first time, this place is a must-visit! Can’t wait to go back!
