Been a pizza addict for many years and lived in NYC for a time as a cook and no saints za rivals the best pizza in NYC. Perfect crust, great bubble, nice char from the wood fire. Incredible attention to detail around the toppings and the presentation of each pizza as well as the quality of the ingredients. The apps are creative and explore the fresh produce of the PNW really well. The environment is really cozy and the pizza oven is the centric focal point of the restaurant. Perfect date night spot, or the spot you go with the boys to crush some pizza and drink a few bottles of wine that are excellently curated by the lovely Gabriella. I will show as many people this Portland gem as possible because they deserve as much shine as they can get.

- so fresh and almost a little hearty because the vegetables are so substantial

- my partner rates this 5 stars but I can't help but love the broccoli salad more
- this one is slightly lighter than the broccoli
- the cheese, fiore sardo, has a tiny bit of a funky after taste but I appreciate it with the peaches

- I love all the bites with peaches but there weren't too many peaches
- the ricotta was slightly too much for me but it was so indulgent, like I can't eat too much, was still really good though
- it really needed more peppers for a spicy sweet taste! In generally I just needed more toppings.

Pingüino Picante

This is a really great place with wonderful food. Everything tasted great and the place inside is very nice. We also appreciate the patio. It’s next to a great ice cream place as well.

There’s a mandatory 20% ‘service charge’, which usually makes me do 1 star on principle. But today we will let it slide and make it a 3. If it’s mandatory, it’s not a tip. Raise your prices 20% instead.

We had the best time here last night! We drank apple cider rose and chilled red wine- both fantastic! We ate the giant rigatoni and the pepperoni supreme pizza. They accommodated half pepperoni since I don’t eat meat and my husband does- we were both very happy and he said it was the best pep pizza he has ever had. Tiramisu was also delicious. We loved the ambiance and staff were so nice and accommodating!

The pizza here is great, but honestly, the real stars are the antipasti and salads. Their Caesar salad is unbeatable and all the other veggie-focused dishes are just loaded with flavor. The drink and dessert menus are also incredible (some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had, but the strawberry shortcake may have stole the show).

Service has always been amazing and well-worth the 20% service charge (I never understand why so many people complain about these things).

My partner and I went on a date to No Saint at the recommendation of friends. So amazing! The atmosphere was open and cozy, and the pizza here is dynamite. We tried the salami pizza with hot honey —superb! We also tried the Caesar salad which was a unique twist on the traditional salad…they use cabbage and other herbs and it was flavorful and yummy. My only recommendation would be mocktails—we don’t drink alcohol and there were a few choices for beverages (but would love to see more). We will definitely be back!

Immaculate vibes, delicious pizza with seasonal toppings, and fresh salads. We love that the menu constantly changes and the Cesar salad is so unique but still a trusty favorite. Also had the strawberry shortcake dessert during our most recent visit and have been dreaming about it since.

Had the spicy chicory Caesar salad and the Rosso with Burrata….YUMMMMM!!!!
The salad had crispy, cheesy croutons and the pizza dough was soft and airy. The pizza sauce was one of the best I’ve tried!!
Didn’t have room for dessert but it looked and sounded incredible. Will definitely be going back!!!

Edit: We’ve since been back a few times and have had the MOST delicious tiramisu!!!! We get it every time we go now! I would venture to say that it is the best in town!! The cannoli is also very very good!! ?
The pizza is always on point and the salads are so fresh and satisfying. They source most of their food from local (or close by) farms and they even source the flour that they use for the dough from a farm near Portland!! Super impressed with this place! We’ve met some cool people at the community table as well! ?
