So far I've tried the ginger chicken and lemongrass chicken banh mis and both have been AMAZING! Great spot, and the owner is very kind!! Can't recommend more.

A gem in the neighborhood

In the warmer seasons they have outside seating, if the tables are full you can always walk to the little park on Catherine street as well. (Half block away)

I’m obsessed with their beef stew pho? and can’t wait to give the rest of the menu a try.

Tried the poke salad with tuna with house dressing and it was probably the best poke bowl I've ever had. The house dressing tasted like a strawberry vinaigrette. It was sweet, tangy, and a little spicy. Tuna was super fresh and perfectly seasoned. Will be back to try the crackling pork banh mi, which looked really good as well.

Update: tried the BBQ pork banh mi and not only was it delicious, but extremely filling. A lot of places like to skimp on the fillings, but the 12" roll was packed nicely.

My gf got the salmon poke bowl and it was just as good as the tuna bowl. Highly recommend stopping in here and grabbing some food.

By far the BEST bahn mi joint in all of Philadelphia. And it's located in Queen's Village by the Italian-Mexican markets. How convenient!

They've got the most unique options ranging from lemongrass pork (my fav) to birria bahn mi (yes, it comes with the soup as all birria should. Dip it & eat it for a flavor smorgasbord). They also have Pho, papaya salad, poke salad, ? and more! Did I mention they make fresh smoothies, too They do!

Run by Danny & his dad, it has a warm hole-in-the-wall vibe, which makes you feel like you just stumbled upon Philly's best kept secret. No cap. You did.

The prices are reasonable. The food is served hot & made fresh daily. The baguette is so crispy & soft. Ugh. There is not enough good things I can say about Pop-Up Cafe. They accept cash & venmo (sorry no card), with a slight upcharge on all venmo purchases. But that hasn't stopped me from ordering here on the regular & paying by venmo consistently.

If you're in the area & on a budget, or down to try something new, flavorful, and filling, stop by Pop-Up Cafe. You you would be remiss if you missed the chance to do so.

One of our favorite restaurants in Philly! Incredible Vietnamese food at a reasonable cost makes it our go-to spot. Excellent options for both vegetarians and meat eaters.

Stopped in for banh mis and iced vietnamese coffees to go, tried the pork, char siu and tofu ones. They are AMAZING! Very fairly priced. Owner was very nice and was playing The Hu while making our sandwiches, super awesome! Will be back every tine we come to philly!

This is a takeaway place with 2 little tables outside. Super friendly, very hardworking family run spot. Very big portions and very good prices with even better flavor !

Went here for birthday supper with my love and u must say it was fabulous. We ordered all vegetarian food because I partake nor of fish nor flesh nor fowl and I was amazed by the rich and succulent flavours for such reasonable prices: it’s a steal. Gentleman running the establishment seemed like a very nice fellow and we WILL be going back. Cheers
