Tourism in Casabermeja

Discover the historical village of Casabermeja and its surroundings, natural access to the Montes de Málaga and link between the inland of Malaga region and its coast.

Restaurante La Huerta is situated at the entrance of Casabermeja, where we could visit its heritage sites (Bienes de Interés Cultural): its characteristic San Sebastian Cemetery, its Nuestra Señora del Socorro Church dating from the 16th century, the cave paintings in the archeological site of Peñas de Cabrera and the Zambra Tower, a watchtower which dates back to the 12th century and overlooks up to the African continent.

From the very entrance of Restaurante La Huerta, you can start several hiking and mountain biking routes in the Montes de Malaga Natural Park and Casabermeja surroundings, or allow the restaurant to be your place of arrival, where you could recover your strength tasting our specialities.

Casabermeja is also a point of reference for gastronomic tourism, as it is shown by the different annual events to which the most discerning palates are invited and which are already established as a reference in the sector, such as the Jornadas de Cocina Popular Malagueña de Primavera, or the Fiesta de la Cabra Malagueña.

Finally, the Festival de Cante Grande de Casabermeja, which is hold every July and which can look back on more than forty editions, has become one of the most important national flamenco events, which cannot be missed by art lovers and which has been recognised as a Festival of Tourist Singularity (Fiesta de Singularidad Turística).
